Privacy policy

CU Brands BV only processes your personal data to handle your order, keep you informed if you want us to, and improve our webshop. We never sell your data.

2. What data do we collect?

  • Order data: name, delivery address, billing address, email address, phone number, products ordered.
  • Payment data: payment is handled by our payment partner; we do not see or store your card details.
  • Customer account: if you create an account, your login and order history.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
  • Contact: what you send us via the contact form or email.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device and browsing behaviour on the site, via cookies.

4. Who do we share your data with?

Only with partners we need to serve you:

  • Shopify (webshop platform and hosting)
  • Payment partners (e.g. Shopify Payments, Bancontact, PayPal)
  • Carriers for delivering your parcel
  • Email marketing (e.g. AVADA) if you signed up for the newsletter
  • Analytics and advertising tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta) if you accepted cookies
  • Our accountant for legal obligations

Some partners process data outside the EU. This only happens with the legal safeguards in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. How long do we keep your data?

  • Order and invoice data: 7 years (legal retention obligation).
  • Customer account: until you ask us to delete it.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Contact messages: up to 2 years after the last contact.

6. Cookies

We use necessary cookies to make the webshop work (e.g. your shopping cart). We only place analytics and marketing cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Send an email to info@cubrands.be; we will reply within 30 days.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The webshop runs entirely over a secure connection (HTTPS).
